Twirly Studios
Our instructors, what to expect, and how the studio works — everything in one place.
Our Instructors
Our instructors are passionate about dance and deeply committed to making every student feel welcome — whether you're walking in for the first time or working toward your next performance. Small classes mean you get real, personal attention every time you're here.
New Here?
Five things to know before your first class at a pole or aerial studio.
We offer beginner to advanced classes across pole, aerial, and dance. Flexibility and conditioning classes complement your aerial skills no matter where you start.
Aerial options include Lyra (hoop), Hammock, Silks, and Flying Pole. Dance classes include Heels, Bachata, and Twerk. All levels are welcome — our intro classes are genuinely designed for beginners.
Safety is our top priority. We use professional-grade, properly maintained equipment and mats are always available. Our instructors are trained in technique and safety protocols and will never push you beyond what's appropriate for your level.
Our instructors have extensive dance experience, adapt to individual learning styles, and actively continue developing their own skills. Many are performers and competitors themselves.
Most importantly — they love what they do, and it shows. Small class sizes mean you get real, personal attention every time you're here.
Not at all. We cultivate a relaxed, community-oriented atmosphere — no competition, no judgment, just a clean, well-maintained space where every body is celebrated.
The studio is small and intentional by design. You'll know your instructors' names and they'll know yours. New students are welcomed warmly from day one.
We offer clear, upfront pricing — grab a Single Pass, buy a class pack, or go unlimited. No surprise fees. See the full pricing table on the home page.
For pole and aerial: form-fitting shorts are essential (skin contact with the apparatus is how you grip — no grippy chalk required). Layers over your dance wear for the commute are a good idea. Bring water. Heels are optional and not required for any class.
Studio Policies
A few things to be aware of as a Twirly Studios student. These policies keep every class safe, on time, and enjoyable for everyone.
Yes — all classes must be reserved in advance, at least 15 minutes before the start time. We do not offer walk-in service.
Single-pass exceptions are only available when you are already onsite for a class immediately preceding, and only if the instructor has offered to make a spot available.
We offer a generous 12-hour cancellation window. Cancel at least 12 hours before your class and your class pass credit is returned for future use.
For virtual sessions, all registered students receive a recording link to practice over the following week.
Please arrive on time, dressed and ready to begin at the scheduled start time. We suggest arriving 15 minutes early with street clothes over your dance attire.
Allow extra time for parking in the Spring St public lot (near Stanley) or street parking, and the walk to the studio.
Students aged 7–15 are welcome in our Junior Aerials program. Students aged 16 and older may join regular classes.
Online unlimited monthly passes start from the date of the first class scheduled after the package is purchased.
Class passes have an expiration date of 3, 6, or 12 months depending on the pass type — see the pass details at time of purchase.

All party attendees — including guests — must be registered students with a signed liability waiver on file before the event. Register here →
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your reservation. The remaining balance is due at the time of the event. Pole dance parties with more than seven guests will require students to share poles.
We love fur babies — please do not bring pets into the studio, though. Trained service dogs are always welcome; please contact the studio before class if you plan to bring a service animal.
Tag us at @twirlystudios with your pole pups and kitties — we'd love to see pictures!
Twirly Studios no longer requires masks for students or staff. If you did not bring a face covering and would be more comfortable wearing one, a disposable surgical mask is available on request.
