Learn the ‘Chopper’, Traditional Invert, and the Shoulder Mount Invert for once and for all – and learn them right the first time! If you are unable to identify the differences between a Chopper and an Invert, you will absolutely benefit from this training! We have been teaching inversions for over 20 years, offering the most effective method for helping students learn these fundamentally important aerial elements in the most successful way! You will learn the proper hand placement, correct grip, use of fulcrums, lateral breathing, and proper position of your pelvis to maximize abdominal strength of the pelvic floor (the powerhouse for Inverts!) in these very important basal tricks! Students will never need a “kick-up” by using our method! And because our method is so effective, your Aerial Inverts will also be easy! By the end of this workshop, inverts will be clean and professional, powerful, and technique-driven! Aerial and floor exercises will be taught to help improve these two elements so that it always looks effortless – the goal of pole dancing!
How great is this lineup of instructors at Twirly Studios??
Meet Lauren, who is currently teaching Pole Basics and Fundamentals of Pole for our beginner students. Her favorite thing about being a pole instructor is getting students started in their pole journey and seeing their strength and confidence grow.
Lauren’s cross training routine includes stroller barre with her baby and running with her 9-year-old lab mix, Milou. On the pole, Lauren loves making shapes on spin pole, especially anything from a brass. Off the pole, Lauren loves to cook, bake, and get outdoors with her family. She also loves coffee, charcuterie boards, Disneyland, and summertime.
The pronouns she prefers are she/her, and you’ll find her in studio on Tuesday evenings and subs regularly so look for her on the schedule!
We’re taking a break from our regular message to introduce our awesome lineup of instructors at Twirly Studios!
Meet Rachel, who is currently teaching our Aerial Silks in both Intro, and L1 beginner. Her cross-training routine includes spin, contortion, handstands, acro yoga, and weightlifting. You can find her practicing deadlifts in studio as this is one of her favorite thing to do during pole practice.
Off the pole, some of her favorite things are coffee, ice cream and cats. She has an 11 year old kitty named Aria (not named after Game of Thrones) and enjoys hiking, board games, and traveling.

We’re stepping into a new reality where California is changing the state face covering mandate. Starting June 15th, our studio has to decide how we manage classes where guidelines are different based on vaccination status.
For the safety of everyone, we are continuing to require masks & temp checks for everyone in the studio, at least for now. To make check-in easier, ew will no longer require the Covid screening form.
Need some twirl with your mask? We’ve got you covered!
